Hi my name is Sarah Barkley ( yes that is my real last name 😁) I am the very proud owner of Sarah Pop-ins Pet Nanny. I have 5 dogs and 4 cats of my own that I love with all my heart. I started pet sitting about 6 years ago. Prior to pet sitting I owned a successful home daycare with children for 16 years. When I decided to close my daycare in 2018 I had no idea what I would do for work. One day a daycare mom said to me “you would be great with animals, like a pet sitter “ I loved the idea immediately. I started with it being just me and I was a nanny also because I did not know how the pet sitting would be. A year and a half in I decided to no longer nanny and I became a full time pet sitter. It was the best choice I have ever made. I then continued to be hired by more and more amazing clients. Two years in I hired my first employee. Now 6 years later I have an amazing team. It blows my mind every day on how amazing Sarah Pop-ins Pet Nanny is . I love going to visit my animal friends every day. I love helping families feel more at ease while they are at work or on vacation knowing their pets at home are being well taken care of, loved, and spoiled. I have an amazing passion for what I do.

Hey there! I'm Danielle. Devoted pet parent to 5 furry companions and a passionate plant enthusiast with over 120 green friends at home. My lively household is a testament to my nurturing nature and love for all living beings. I've always had different animals throughout life; rats, guinea pigs, iguanas, fish, cats, dogs, turtles and tortoises. Rest assured, your pet will be showered with the same care and affection as my own furry family members.

Hi everyone! My name is Sarah Lagasse am I am from Wolcott, Ct. A few fun facts about me… I love to travel, line dance, and most of all, spend time with my family! I am currently a student at Quinnipiac University and am a part of their doctorate program for occupational therapy. I have always had a love for animals and hope to include animal assisted therapy in my practice to help future clients build communication and socialization skills. I am so grateful I get be apart of Sarah’s team here at Sarah Pop-ins Pet Nanny. Having 3 cats and 2 dogs, I understand the stress of going away, and even simply being apart from our fur babies for more than a few hours. With that said, I always ensure I am providing the greatest of care to both your pets and your home! I love to be able to spend the day providing care to animals all while getting snuggles in return!

I have had a wide variety of animals my whole life. I was raised mostly around dogs and cats but have also had fish, birds, reptiles, and small "pocket" pets like gerbils and hamsters. All animals have always held a special place in my soul and over the last few years, I realized my purpose in life was working with these beautiful beings. I love working for Sarah Pop-ins because I get to experience many different breeds and fur family groups, with the wide diversity of personalities. Of course, the lovey dovey ones are absolutely adored but the ones who are shy, take longer to warm up to people, or who have an attitude are my absolute favorites. I have a lot of experience with the animals who may have had a harder life before or just easily scared or can even seem scary to some people. I can't wait to love your animals like I love my own❤️

Hi, my name is Kim Kryszak, I’m 34 years old & live in Southington with my 10yr old Golden Retriever, Murphy. I grew up with at least two cats in our home as well. I’ve been working for Sarah Pop-in’s Pet Nanny since June of 2022 & have been absolutely loving it since the very first day! I love animals of all kinds & I feel so lucky & honored to meet & become friends with so many sweet kitties, pups, reptiles, chickens, ducks & even some pigs!

Hello, my name is Sammie. I grew up in a house full of animals. Everything from cats, dogs, ferrets, fish, birds, and hamsters. As an adult I currently own three dogs, six Persian cats, two Pekin ducks, and two geckos that live in a terrarium I built. I have always had a love and passion for animals. I also have a passion for exercise. In my spare time I compete in Spartan races. I now have a job that incorporates both passions of mine.

Hi, I’m Jasmyne! I’m 21 years old and I’ve been in this industry for about two years going on three now! I started out just a regular animal lover growing up with dogs, cats, Ferrets, and more. I am first aid and CPR certified for most animals and i have a background in dog behaviors and play styles! I also have a background with basic training for pups such as sit, stay, down, and other basic commands! I have been working with Sarah for a few months now and I love it. I look forward to meeting and spending time with your pup!🫶🏼

When i’m not working, I love to spend time with my cat, Poppy, and my family’s three dogs. I also beekeep in my free time. I love to meet all these wonderful animals and care for them and help wherever I can! I am a college student and when I am home for the summer I love working for Sarah Pop-ins Pet Nanny. Hi My name is Samantha. I’m a rescue mom of two, Franklin & Luna, and they’re my whole world. I’ve loved all animals ever since I was small which is why I enjoy working at Sarah Pop-ins Pet Nanny - not only do you get to spend time with so many cute pups but we also get to visit with cats, guinea pigs/hamsters, and bunnies too! It never feels like work and everyday is something new. In my spare time I love to bake sweet treats for both humans and pups, I spend a lot of time in NH hiking in the mountains or down the beach soaking up the sun, and I’m almost always spoiling my dogs in one way or another.
